We are currently seeking a dynamic and experienced HR Generalist to join our team in the Manufacturing industry. This role will be responsible for a diverse range of HR tasks, including employee relations, compensation and benefits, new employee onboarding, conflict resolution, training and development, HR policies, benefits administration, and employee engagement. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining a positive work environment and promoting our company culture.
Responsibilities:
1. Manage and resolve complex employee relations issues. Conduct effective, thorough, and objective investigations.
2. Analyze trends and metrics in partnership with the HR team to develop solutions, programs and policies.
3. Administer and manage compensation and benefit programs, ensuring equitable and competitive employee compensation.
4. Oversee the hiring and onboarding process, including conducting new hire orientations and managing the exit interview process.
5. Facilitate and manage employee termination procedures in compliance with company policy and employment law.
6. Develop and implement HR policies and procedures; educate and train employees on these policies.
7. Provide day-to-day performance management guidance to line management (coaching, counseling, career development, disciplinary actions).
8. Work closely with management and employees to improve work relationships, build morale, and increase productivity and retention.
9. Manage and oversee the administration of HR policies, procedures, and programs.
10. Drive initiatives to foster positive employee relations and enhance employee engagement.
11. Conduct regular training and development sessions for employees to improve their skills and knowledge.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
2. Minimum of 2 years of experience in an HR generalist role, preferably in the manufacturing industry.
3. In-depth knowledge of labor law and HR best practices.
4. Demonstrated experience with HR metrics and ability to make data-driven business decisions.
5. Excellent listening, negotiation, and presentation skills.
6. Excellent interpersonal, communication, and conflict resolution skills.
7. Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills.
8. Ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate them when appropriate.
9. Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.
12. Thorough knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations.
