Job Summary: We are seeking a detail-oriented HR Generalist Payroll Assistant to join our team. This role will support our HR department by managing payroll functions, employee relations, and ensuring compliance with employment regulations. The ideal candidate will have experience with ADP payroll systems and a strong focus on attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities:
- Payroll Administration:
- Assist the Payroll Dept in the preparation of payroll reports and timekeeping, addressing any discrepancies in a timely manner, utilizing the ADP system.
- Employee Relations:
- Serve as a point of contact for employee inquiries regarding payroll and benefits.
- Support HR initiatives aimed at fostering a positive workplace environment.
- Employment Verification:
- Conduct employment verification for current and former employees as needed.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation for verification purposes.
- I-9 Verification:
- Ensure compliance with I-9 regulations by verifying documentation for new hires.
- Maintain organized records of I-9 forms and related documents.
- Compliance and Reporting:
- Assist in preparing reports for regulatory compliance, including EEO and other necessary filings.
- Stay informed about changes in labor laws and regulations affecting payroll and HR practices.
- General HR Support:
- Provide administrative support for HR projects and initiatives
- Assist with onboarding and offboarding processes.
Qualifications:
- 1-3 years of experience in HR, specifically in payroll administration.
- Proficiency in ADP payroll systems or similar payroll software.
- Strong knowledge of employment laws and regulations.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with employee relations and conflict resolution.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
