We seek a dedicated HR Generalist III to provide comprehensive support across a wide range of human resource functions. In this pivotal role, you will be a backup for recruiting and benefits administration while assisting with employee relations, health and safety, and leave administration. The HR Generalist III will also contribute to reviewing and developing organizational policies, ensuring compliance with labor laws, and delivering essential HR services to support various business lines. Responsibilities:What you will be responsible for:
- Serve as a backup for recruiting and benefits administration to ensure seamless HR operations.
- Assist with employee relations, including conflict resolution and fostering positive workplace interactions.
- Support health and safety programs, ensuring compliance with safety regulations.
- Administer compensation programs and provide payroll assistance as needed.
- Coordinate and facilitate departmental training and employee development programs.
- Assist with leave and attendance administration, ensuring accurate tracking and compliance.
- Maintain employee records and support HR systems management.
- Communicate and enforce organizational policies, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local labor laws.
- Collaborate with external vendors to provide supplemental HR services and streamline processes.
- Partner with business lines to deliver tailored HR support and services.
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 8 plus years of HR experience in a corporate environment functioning in the following areas; recruiting, employee relations, benefits administration, and Compliance.
- Deep understanding of employment regulations such as FMLA, FLSA, ADA, and EEOC guidelines.
- Familiarity with HR Information Systems (ADP, iCIMS, Jira, Confluence etc.) for recruitment, managing employee data, and enhancing HR operations.
- Ability to analyze HR metrics and data, track key performance indicators (KPIs), and generate reports based on insights to support leadership decision-making.
- Prefer PHR or SHRM-CP
This position will require up to 12 trips per year to Owosso, Michigan.
