About the Job
Responsibilities:
Assist with recruitment efforts, including job postings, resume screening, scheduling interviews, and conducting reference checks.
Coordinate new employee onboarding and orientation processes.
Serve as a point of contact for employees regarding HR-related inquiries, policies, and procedures.
Provide guidance and support to managers and employees on performance management issues, including coaching, counseling, and disciplinary actions.
Assist with employee relations matters, including investigating complaints and resolving conflicts in a timely and effective manner.
Administer HR programs and initiatives, such as employee recognition programs, wellness initiatives, and employee engagement surveys.
Coordinate training and development activities, including identifying training needs, scheduling training sessions, and tracking employee participation.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records and HRIS data.
Assist with HR compliance efforts, including ensuring compliance with employment laws and regulations.
Support HR projects and initiatives as needed.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in human resources, business administration, or related field required.
2+ years of experience in HR generalist or related role.
Strong knowledge of HR laws, regulations, and best practices.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and HRIS systems.
HR certification (e.g., PHR, SHRM-CP) preferred but not required.
