HR Generalist - Search Services

Our downtown private equity client seeks an experienced and dynamic Human Resources Generalist to support the firm’s ongoing growth. This role will be integral to fostering a high-performing culture, driving strategic HR initiatives, and delivering exceptional day-to-day HR support.

Key Responsibilities:

• Partner with the Head of Human Capital to design and implement effective policies, procedures, and frameworks to support the firm’s objectives.
• Lead payroll administration, benefits programs, and compliance activities to ensure accuracy and adherence to regulations.
• Assist with annual compensation reviews, benchmarking, and related activities.
• Coordinate the recruitment process and oversee pre-hire and onboarding activities to ensure a seamless candidate-to-employee transition.
• Serve as a trusted resource for employee and labor relations, fostering a positive and inclusive work environment.
• Assist in creating and implementing learning initiatives to support employee growth and development.
• Facilitate performance review processes, providing tools and guidance to managers and employees.
• Deliver accurate, reliable, and timely day-to-day HR services, ensuring smooth operations and responsiveness.
• Identify opportunities to optimize HR processes, reduce inefficiencies, and enhance the employee experience.
• Lead or support additional HR projects and initiatives as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s in HR or related field preferred.
• 2–7 years of HR experience, preferably within professional services or energy sectors.
• Broad knowledge of HR principles, best practices, and applicable regulations.
