Responsibilities:
- Act as a strategic partner to the management team, providing expert advice and guidance on a range of HR issues, including but not limited to, talent acquisition, performance management, employee relations, and HR best practices.
- Manage the entire employee onboarding process, ensuring a smooth transition and a positive first impression for new hires.
- Oversee the I-9 verification process, ensuring compliance with all federal and state regulations.
- Lead the open enrollment process, educating employees on their benefit options and ensuring all paperwork is completed accurately and on time.
- Utilize Paylocity to manage payroll and benefits administration, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of all transactions.
- Perform a range of human resource administrative duties, such as maintaining employee records, processing HR documents, and coordinating training and development programs.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest HR trends and best practices, implementing new strategies as necessary to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field is a plus
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a HR role,
- Proven experience with onboarding, I-9, open enrollment, and Paylocity.
- Strong knowledge of HR laws, regulations, and best practices.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships at all levels of the organization.
- Excellent organizational skills, with a high level of attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Strong problem-solving skills, with a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- HR certification (PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP) is a plus.
