Are you ready to be the cornerstone of our HR function? We are seeking a versatile HR Generalist to join our team as the sole HR representative. In this dynamic role, you will be the go-to person for all HR-related matters, supporting our organization's growth and fostering a positive work environment. This is a unique opportunity to build your OWN department, processes, procedures, programs and policies!
Responsibilities:
HR Operations: Serve as the primary point of contact for all HR inquiries, providing guidance and support to employees and management on various HR issues. Manage employee records, HRIS administration, and ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
Recruitment and Onboarding: Lead end-to-end recruitment efforts, from job posting and candidate sourcing to onboarding and orientation. Collaborate with hiring managers to define job requirements, conduct interviews, and facilitate seamless onboarding experiences for new hires.
Employee Relations: Proactively address employee relations matters, including conflict resolution, performance management, and disciplinary actions. Foster a positive work environment by promoting open communication, fairness, and respect among employees.
Benefits Administration: Administer employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and other perks. Assist employees with benefits inquiries, enrollment, and changes, ensuring timely and accurate processing.

Requirements:
Must have a minimum of 5 yrs of progressive HR experience plus a Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
PHR, SHRM-CP, SHRL, CHRP or similar certification strongly preferred.
Willingness and ability to effectively serve as the sole HR representative of the company is required.
Expertise in recruiting/talent acquisition is a big plus.
Previous experience within the construction industry is preferred, but not required.
This is a Hybrid position and will report directly to the President of the company.
