Job Duties
COMPENSATION
Participates in conducting large and small-scale compensation and job analysis studies for various occupations.
Researches and analyzes labor market conditions related to specific job families or profiles to assess equity, competitiveness, and appropriateness of existing compensation plans.
CLASSIFICATION
Responds to classification and compensation surveys from external organizations.
Creates or revises classification specifications, including gathering job information and researching industry comparators.
Conducts position reviews for new or changing management, professional, technical, and administrative support occupations. Recommends minimum qualifications, classification titles, pay grades, and compensation.
Serves as the repository for classification specifications and employee job descriptions.
REPORTING
Creates, analyzes, and distributes technical and statistical reports from Workday (HRIS) related to compensation, classification, and worker data.
Prepares and distributes reports and data to internal customers, external partners, and government agencies.
INVESTIGATIONS
Participates in internal investigations of complaints, workplace issues, and policy violations.
Studies submitted documentation, conducts interviews and performs background research.
POLICIES & PROCEDURES
Reviews existing policies and procedures; makes recommendations to reflect changing laws or best practices and responds to trends or.
Responds to inquiries from managers, employees, and court users about policies and procedures.
TRAINING
Creates and delivers presentations or training programs on related HR topics.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree AND
Two years of experience performing professional human resources duties, including one year of experience in compensation, classification, or internal investigations.
An equivalent combination of education, experience, and/or training may be considered.
Additional Requirements / Preferences
Satisfactory criminal background check required.
Strong writing and math skills required.
Exceptional technical skills with MS Office/MS 365 required.
Experience with Workday HRIS preferred.
