Job Description
"Join us in our mission to empower individuals on their journey towards overcoming substance abuse as an HR Generalist at ACI Chemical Dependency Treatment Center."
Overview:
Maintains office services by organizing office operations and procedures, controlling correspondence, maintaining inventory, approving supply requisitions, and assigning and monitoring clerical functions.
Required tasks comprise:
§ Create and manage weekly schedules for all departments
§ Process bi-weekly payroll
§ Oversee Time & Attendance for company and contracted employees
§ Maintain, track, and review compliance with mandatory and non-mandatory training, continuing education, and work assessments
§ Provide support in recruitment and onboarding of qualified job applicants for open positions; collaborates with departmental managers to understand skills and competencies required for openings
§ Conduct background checks and employee eligibility verifications
§ Assist Director of HR in implementing new hire orientation and employee recognition programs
§ Manage and maintain company's ID/ Access System
§ Handle employment-related inquiries from applicants, employees, and supervisors, referring complex and/or sensitive matters to the Director of HR
§ Maintain knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law
§ Performs other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
§ Bachelor's degree in HR, Business Administration, or a related field required.
§ At least one year of human resource management experience preferred.
§ Excellent verbal and written communication skills
§ Excellent interpersonal and conflict resolution skills
§ Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
§ Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines
§ Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
§ Ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate them when appropriate
§ Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality
§ Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software
§ Proficiency with or the ability to quickly learn the organizations HRIS
§ Physical Requirements:
§ Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer
§ Must be able to lift 15 pounds at times
§ Must be able to access and navigate each department at the organization's facilities
