Our client, a growing healthcare firm, is seeking a HR Generalist to join its team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in HR practices and a passion for improving the employee experience. This is a permanent, full-time position where you will play a key role in supporting our HR department's daily activities. This role requires a high level of confidentiality, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to work well with all levels of internal management and staff.

Responsibilities:
1. Serve as a point of contact for employee inquiries, providing guidance and support in resolving issues and concerns.
2. Manage HR compliance matters, ensuring all policies and procedures are up to date and in line with current employment law.
3. Assist in the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures.
4. Facilitate the onboarding process for new hires, ensuring a smooth and positive introduction to our organization.
5. Coordinate employee relations efforts, providing mediation and conflict resolution when necessary.
6. Utilize HRIS systems for data entry, reporting, and managing employee records.
7. Work closely with the HR team to deliver SHRM practices and objectives.
8. Participate in the development and execution of training programs.
9. Assist in performance management procedures.
10. Support the HR department in implementing programs to help improve the employee experience.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field.
2. Minimum of 1 years' experience in a HR Generalist role or similar.
3. Professional in Human Resources (PHR) certification or SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) credential is preferred.
4. Proficient with HRIS, MS Office Suite, and comfortable learning new technical systems as needed.
5. Knowledge of HR compliance and labor laws.
6. Excellent understanding of general human resources policies and procedures.
7. Strong knowledge of hiring processes including recruitment, interview process, and onboarding.
8. Outstanding knowledge of MS Office; HRIS systems (e.g. PeopleSoft) will be a plus.
9. Excellent communication and people skills.
10. Aptitude in problem-solving and conflict resolution.
