Human Resources Generalist
A global pharmaceutical company in Northern New Jersey is seeking an experienced HR Generalist to manage HR functions for its NJ office. This role offers an opportunity to contribute to a wide range of HR responsibilities, including payroll, benefits administration, employee relations, recruitment, and compliance.
Key Responsibilities
Payroll & Benefits:
- Oversee payroll processing and attendance tracking.
- Manage benefits administration, reconcile benefits statements, and conduct internal audits for payroll, 401(k), and workers' compensation.
Recruitment:
- Manage the end-to-end recruitment process, including sourcing, interviewing, and onboarding.
- Develop and implement sourcing strategies to build a strong talent pipeline.
Employee Relations & Performance Management:
- Administer performance reviews and communicate HR policies.
- Provide guidance to managers on disciplinary actions and resolve employee relations issues.
HR Operations & Compliance:
- Ensure accurate completion of new hire paperwork and maintain employee files.
- Assist with compliance efforts and prepare written HR communications.
Training & Development:
- Coordinate employee training programs and lead orientations for new hires.
- Conduct competency-based interviews and identify areas for process improvement.
