Title : HR Director
Location : Los Angeles Metropolitan Area [Hybrid Remote with required business travel of two days per month]
Type : 12+ month contract
Job Description:
The HR Director will be responsible for both strategic leadership and direct employee support, working closely with the executive team to develop a people strategy that aligns with the organization's long-term business plan. Key responsibilities include managing talent acquisition, compensation, employee relations, and HR operations.

Job Description:
- Education/Experience: Bachelor's degree in human resources, business management, or related field, or equivalent combination of education and professional experience.
- Experience: 10+ years of HR functional experience, including 5+ years of HR Generalist experience.
- Leadership: Proven senior leadership in a high-growth environment, building people processes from the ground up.
- Strategic and Tactical: Demonstrated ability to lead strategic HR initiatives, and willingness to engage in tactical HR work.
- Key HR Areas: Talent acquisition, talent management, performance management, compensation and benefits, employee relations, and organization design.
- Skills: Strong project management, time management, and conflict management skills. High levels of emotional intelligence and the ability to build trust with diverse teams.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, SharePoint) and ability to learn UC-specific systems.
- MBA or MA/MS in human resources or related field.
- SHRM-SCP or SHRM-CP certification.
- Experience with UC systems in HR roles.
