JOB SUMMARY: Human Resources Director is responsible for developing organizational strategies to support company growth while managing the administrative functions of Human Resources (HR) for the entire company. This role will develop policy while directing the HR generalist and coordinating all HR administration activities such as policy and compliance, compensation and payroll, labor relations, training, and employee relations to ensure the culture is maintained.

JOB SUMMARY: Human Resources Director is responsible for developing organizational strategies to support company growth while managing the administrative functions of Human Resources (HR) for the entire company. This role will develop policy while directing the HR generalist and coordinating all HR administration activities such as policy and compliance, compensation and payroll, labor relations, training, and employee relations to ensure the culture is maintained.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES
- Serve as the main representative for the Human Resources Department in all Executive and corporate meetings.
- Oversee the administrative functions of compensation, benefits administration & leave, disciplinary matters, disputes & investigations, performance, productivity, occupational health & safety, and corporate training & development.
- Develop, review, and revise program policies and procedures while advising directors, managers, and staff on how to interpret updates.
- Identify leadership weaknesses and work to create and establish personalized leadership goals and plans.
- Establish a culture of positivity and respect where all team members are engaged in the success of the business.
- Execute and sustain change management initiatives that align with the business priorities while maintaining the culture.
- Provide human resource leadership to the operational leaders and employees to accomplish the operational goals of the company.
- Manage and resolve complex employee relations issues. Conduct effective, thorough, and objective investigations and direct HR generalist.
- Analyze and modify compensation policies to establish competitive programs and ensure compliance with legal requirements.
- Build and maintain a strong functional team through effective recruiting, training, coaching, team building and succession planning.
- Advise managers on employee and labor policies such as ADA, FMLA, and OSHA.
- Develop and implement departmental budget.
- Work with the executive team to implement a bonus structure.
- Streamline all salaries to ensure organizational alignment through the creation of “pay ranges.”
- Assist any new internal departments in becoming legally compliant.
- Advise executives on M&A in regard to the HR function of the business.

- Responsible for providing leadership, mentorship, direction, feedback, and support for other team members.
- Responsible in assisting with the onboarding, education, and development of new team members when they join your team.
Qualifications
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or related field required.
- SHRM-CP is highly regarded.
Experience
- At least one year of human resource management experience is preferred.
- Time spent in related fields or industries.
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.

- Thorough knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
- Proficiency with or the ability to quickly learn the organization’s HRIS and talent management systems.
