TV Entertainment: The Entertainment Group develops and schedules the network’s primetime, late-night, and daytime entertainment programming, including USA, SYFY, Bravo, E!, Oxygen, and Universal Kids. Ad Sales HR: The Ad Sales Human Resources team at NBCUniversal is looking for a high-energy, results-driven and innovative HR Intern. The role is a perfect launch pad for someone interested in a career in HR providing experience in both generalist and specialist work. In this role, you will have exposure to HR projects that span onboarding, rewards and recognition, performance feedback, talent attraction and development, and HR’s business impact.
Corporate Diversity, Equity, & Inclusion: The NBCUniversal Corporate Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI) team works closely with Learning & Development, Early Careers, Talent Branding, Human Resources, CSR, Corporate Communications and enterprise-wise business units to further the company’s inclusion initiatives. The Corporate DEI intern will have an opportunity to support responsibilities such as providing admin and ad-hoc support to the DEI team, including notetaking, calendar management, and research, maintaining and updating internal databases and distribution lists, coordinating and assisting with diversity events including handling guest registration, logistics, and communications with stakeholders, designing deliverables for external partnerships, and contributing to social media strategy, including by generating custom content.
Corporate Communications: Working with teams across the NBCU enterprise, Corporate Communications sits in a unique epicenter, touching each business to help share their messages internally to our employees and externally to our corporate stakeholders. This intern will have the opportunity to help amplify the work going on across the company by telling stories that celebrate the full breadth and scope of NBCUniversal and our impact. Supporting platforms such as NBCUniversal.com, NBCU Social Media accounts, employee newsletters, and company-wide emails, this intern will touch on responsibilities such as creating content for internal digital screens, assisting with research of industry trends, building face sheets and key talking point documents, and providing event support.
Corporate Social Responsibility - Partnerships: The NBCU Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) team oversees the Company’s volunteering and social impact efforts including; Comcast NBCUnites, the company’s employee volunteering program; NBCUniversal Local Impact Grant program, the Comcast NBCU Foundation annual grant challenge; tentpole volunteering events like Season of Service and Volunteer Month and external partnerships with nonprofits and changemakers that align with the company’s social impact priorities. The internship will be a great opportunity for a candidate interested in the intersection of business and social purpose, looking to deepen their understanding of employee relations and volunteering and philanthropy while building skills and gaining experience as a researcher, event planner, and communicator.
Entertainment & Culture DEI: This role will sit with the Culture + DEI team, working to help foster a cohesive company culture across the 7 Entertainment Networks with a focus on inclusion. Projects and responsibilities may include brainstorming culture and employee engagement programming, building the monthly culture newsletter (including content, copy, and design), tracking event and communication metrics (i.e., event attendance + sentiments, eblast CTR + opens, etc.), researching content for culture newsletters, and ensuring content is appropriate and relevant to our audience.
Executive Search: This is an exciting internship opportunity to learn the ins and outs of NBCUniversal’s Global Executive Search Team. Executive Search is an in-house Leadership Recruiting and Advisory Team working across the NBCU enterprise, Comcast, and Sky, specializing in proactively engaging internal and external talent at the Vice President and above level. This team leverages their vast network of relationships to help identify and attract exceptional leadership talent capable of helping transform the company and make NBCU the most competitive and innovative media company in the marketplace. This role plays an integral part of the research team that focuses on proactive pipelining, market mapping projects, and overall knowledge management for the larger team. Additionally, this position will help shape the team’s newly established analytics initiative and continue to build and enhance reporting and metrics.
Basic Requirements:
Must be actively enrolled in a degree-granting program at an accredited institution during the entire duration of the program (June 2025 through August 2025). May 2025 graduates are not eligible for our Summer 2025 Internship Program.
Current class standing of sophomore or above (30 credits).
Must be presently authorized to work for any employer in the United States and must not require work visa sponsorship from NBCUniversal now or in the future to retain authorization to work in the United States.
Must be willing to work in New York, NY.
For further clarification, candidates currently on any student or exchange visa (e.g. F-1 CPT, F-1 OPT, J-1, M-1) are not eligible to apply unless they will be able to change or adjust to another status that grants work authorization without NBCUniversal sponsorship.

Desired Characteristics:
Students with class standing of junior or above preferred.
Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or above.
Interest in the HR field, DEI, corporate communications and culture, and/or employee engagement.
Ability to manage confidential and sensitive information.
Strong-problem solving skills, with the ability to self-start and streamline.
Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with the professional savvy of communicating at all levels.
Well organized with strong time management & multi-tasking skills.
Ability to take direction from multiple stakeholders & balance numerous projects simultaneously.
Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook).
Experience with SAP a plus.
The hourly rate for student interns is $17.50.
