**The People and Culture team has an exciting opening for a Human Resources Coordinator. This is a full-time, permanent position.**
The Human Resources (HR) Coordinator provides essential daily operational and analytical support to the People and Culture team . This role manages various administrative processes and serves as a primary point of contact for University Advancement's new hires and current employees. The HR Coordinator maintains HR systems, ensures compliance with organizational policies and tracks key HR compliance metrics.
**What You Will Do:** **Human Resources Operations Support (30%)**
-Oversee the day-to-day HR administrative responsibilities, including the timely and accurate documentation of new and departing employees in the relevant systems.
-Coordinate HR counterparts across the UW on processes related to documentation and hiring.
**System Administration and Reporting (30%)**
-Oversee updates to the internal financial and administrative database, including serving as a primary point of contact for internal teams .
-Ensure accurate data entry and system updates.
-Monitor and action incoming requests and questions through the University's ticketing system.
-Assign service tickets to the appropriate HR team member(s) and track resolution times to ensure timely responses in line with the team's mission to provide high quality customer service.
-Maintain data and reporting for University Advancement's performance review system.
-Assist with survey deployment and data analysis.
**Compliance and Budget (35%)**
-Track and manage compliance requirements related to HR processes, including onboarding, offboarding, background checks, required trainings and I-9 verifications.
-Track expiration dates for key compliance documentation and ensure timely renewals.
-Serve as the primary contact for completing new employees' I-9 documentation; ensuring compliance with all federal, state, and organizational I-9 requirements.
-Generate and maintain reports to monitor compliance metrics and address gaps proactively.
-Track progress on pending background checks to expedite the hiring process.
-Handle ProCard reconciliation related to HR activities, including verifying transactions and maintaining accurate financial records.
**Other duties as assigned (5%)** **MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS**
Bachelor's degree in human resources, business administration or a related field AND two years of HR administrative experience.
**Equivalent education/experience will substitute for all minimum qualifications except when there are legal requirements, such as a license/certification/registration.** **What You Bring:**

-Ability to manage multiple priorities and handle sensitive information with confidentiality.
