Overview:
Processes and maintains all employee HR records for the agency by entering information in both the physical files and the Ultipro/HRIS. Reviews all change of status forms prior to processing to ensure that information is clear, complete and accurate by interfacing with program administrators.
Responsibilities:Primary duties and responsibilities include but not limited to:
- Creates, maintains and updates Human Resource files, enters information into the database, reviews physical files, processes change of status forms after ensuring accuracy of information obtained from HRBP, Program, TAT of Compensation Analyst., and forwards information to payroll and benefits departments ensuring employee information is current and deadlines are met.
- Prepares HRS New Hire documents. Conducts employee onboarding orientation meetings virtually and in person, generating Letter of Agreement, job description, pay rate notices, and ensuring that new employees comply with federal I-9 requirements as well as with OPWDD regulations.
- Maintains the ID badging system, in conjunction with HR Assistant taking photos, printing employee badges and troubleshooting irregularities.
- Responds to all incoming employment verification and reference requests.
- Responds to employee, program, payroll and training inquiries relating to Human Resource policies and procedures ensuring inquiries are addressed timely. Forwards advanced inquiries to HR Business Partner.
- Interacts with HR Business Partner ensuring all program, employee, training and payroll inquiries are resolved……
- Prepares reports from HRIS database as needed.
- Assists HR Manager with preparation of Audits, as needed.
- Performs all other duties as requested.
- High School diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
- One (1) year experience in Human Resources preferred; computer proficiency in all Microsoft Word applications.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and organizational skills required.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality is requisite.
