About the Job
The Human Resources Coordinator is responsible for the overall organizing and execution of all employee recruiting and onboarding. This position is also responsible for maintaining benefit platforms, personnel files, multiple excel spreadsheets, and payroll back-up. 3 days per week, 24 hours per week with possibility of additional hours during busier times of year.
Principle Duties:
- Ensures the consistency and maintainability of existing policies & procedures by maintaining and enforcing standards/procedures for implemented solutions.
- Manages various platforms.
- Maintains employee personnel files.
- Creates a quarterly HR newsletter.
- Tracks various licenses and certifications for employee compliance.
- Performs other duties as required and assigned.
HIPAA Compliance:
- The HR Coordinator will have full access to personnel records.
- Respects and maintains privacy of all patients and visitors.
- Complies with HIPAA and ensures confidentiality at all times.
Education and Experience:
Minimum of five (5) years' experience in the HR field as an Assistant or Coordinator. Business or HR degree preferred but not required. Prior healthcare experience is a plus. Recruiting experience is required.
Minimum Knowledge, skills and abilities:
- Similar experience in health care setting preferred.
- Demonstrates interpersonal communication skills in order to facilitate effective interaction with a variety of health care professionals and personnel.
- Ability to work independently and to organize and prioritize work efficiently.
- Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Office and Adobe skills required.
