About the Job
We’re looking for an HR Coordinator to join a great company in Ontario! The HR Coordinator will play a critical role in supporting the Human Resources department's daily operations and ensuring smooth and efficient HR processes. This position requires strong organizational, communication, and multitasking skills, as well as a passion for fostering a positive workplace culture.
Key Responsibilities:
- Participate in HR projects and events
- Support onboarding processes to ensure a smooth transition for new hires.
- Maintain and update HR policies, procedures, and documentation.
- Coordinate employee training sessions and maintain training records.
- Administer and manage employee records, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company and legal standards.
- Address employee inquiries and provide guidance on HR-related matters.
- Assist with payroll and benefits administration as needed.
- Update PTO request spreadsheet.
- Assist with creation of weekly safety communications.
- Process HR department monthly invoices from insurance providers.
- Reporting monthly G/L codes to accounting department.
Qualifications
- Minimum education required: High School Diploma or GED.
- Experience with HR software, HRIS or time and attendance.
- Excellent organization and time management skills.
- Microsoft Excel preferred.
- Bi-lingual Spanish a plus.
