HR Coordinator
2 month contract
Hybrid: 4 days onsite

Must Haves:
The Engineering department of a prestigious university seeks a highly organized HR Coordinator with strong communication, prioritization, writing, and follow-up skills. Reporting to the Executive Director of Human Resources, this role liaises with hiring managers while providing guidance to ensure the talent acquisition process adheres to established guidelines and employment laws. This position handles a high volume of recruitment activities, staffing transactions, and candidate management, ensuring deadlines are met. The role will also liaise with our leave management team on worker’s compensation claims and reports and coordinate Family Medical Leave and related leave processes, including Short Term Disability, ADA Accommodations, Parental Leave, and related leaves. Daily duties will be split between Talent Acquisition: 60%, Benefits Leave Coordination: 30%, and Reporting: 10%

- Bachelor’s degree + 2 years of related experience, Associates and 5+ years of related experience nodegree and 8+ years of related experience
- General knowledge of HR policies & procedures, specifically in the area of Employment
- Microsoft Office, Google Applications, knowledge of applicant tracking systems (ATS), databases, and advanced spreadsheet skills
- Experience in a higher education institution
- Knowledge of labor and employment law, organizational development, and best practices
