ROLE SUMMARY
This position reports to the HR Manager, or another management personnel that the President of the Company may designate. This position is located in Houston, TX and working hours are Monday through Friday, from 8:00am to 5:00pm or 9:00am to 6:00pm local time. Overtime and weekend working hours may be required as needed. This position is expected to travel up to 10%.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTION & RESPONSIBILITIES
Onboarding:

Completes a variety of actions in Paycor to efficiently onboard new employees

Complete New Hire Orientations and process all new hire paperwork.

Responsible for the New Hire Drug Testing Program and background investigations

I-9 and E-verify Administration
Recruiting:
-
Assist recruiter in identifying and sourcing qualified candidates through job boards, social media, and networking.

Creating and posting job requisitions in ATS and other job bords
-
Maintain and update candidate databases, ensuring information is current and accurate.

Schedule interviews with candidates, hiring managers, and interview panels, ensuring a smooth and timely process.

Prepare interview materials and ensure all parties have the necessary information.

Serve as a key contact for candidates, providing timely updates and information throughout the hiring process.

Maintain and update recruitment metrics and reports, tracking progress against hiring goals and timelines.

Manage job postings on internal and external platforms and ensure job descriptions are up-to-date.

Support the recruitment team in special projects and process improvements.

Facilitating the pre-hire process with candidates, to include on boarding module launches, background and drug screen processes.

Assist in content creation and posting for Recruitment Marketing

Strong commitment to providing a positive candidate experience, with a helpful and approachable demeanor.
Offboarding
-
Schedules exit interviews with exiting employees

Notifies appropriate departments of all exiting employees
-
Perform other out-processing duties for terminations including system updates
Records
-
Serve as custodian for all electronic and hard copy employee records.

Perform data entry of all employee information into Paycor ensuring data integrity through consistent monitoring, testing and auditing.

File all records accordingly.

Respond to employment verification, unemployment, background inquiries.

Custom reporting requests within HR and other departments
Other
-
Performs a variety of administrative tasks such as copying, filing, preparing presentations, monthly reports etc.

Coordinate cross-functional information between different departments.

Serve as a back-up for all members of the Human Resources Department.

Other duties as assigned include special projects such as monthly employee recognition and year end preparation
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
-
1-3 years of experience in a recruiting, HR, or administrative support role, with prior experience in coordinating interviews, onboarding, or recruiting processes preferred.

Familiarity with applicant tracking systems (ATS) and Paycor is a plus.

Ability to maintain high standards of confidentiality.

Strong administrative skills, attention to detail, well organized, and entrepreneurial mindset.

Problem-solving skills with the ability to reprioritize and adjust to the needs of the business.

Understanding of basic recruiting practices, sourcing techniques, and onboarding processes.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to build relationships with candidates and communicate professionally with all levels of staff.

Ability to work collaboratively within a team and interact positively with candidates and hiring managers.
