The HR Admin Assistant supports the human resources team by handling a variety of administrative and HR-related tasks. Responsibilities include maintaining the HR Information System (HRIS), managing employee records, and assisting the Senior HR Business Partner. The position may also involve special projects or additional duties as needed.

The HR Admin Assistant supports the human resources team by handling a variety of administrative and HR-related tasks. Responsibilities include maintaining the HR Information System (HRIS), managing employee records, and assisting the Senior HR Business Partner. The position may also involve special projects or additional duties as needed.
Job Requirements
Experience
- 1–3 years of HR experience in benefits, general HR, and customer service.
- Capable of interacting with employees at all levels.
- Basic knowledge of HR policies, procedures, state and federal laws, and group benefits.
- Familiarity with HRIS systems (JDE, Oracle Cloud) is a plus.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint).
- Demonstrated ability to multitask and apply critical thinking skills.
- Act as the first point of contact for employee HR-related questions, concerns, or issues; refer complex issues to the Senior HR Business Partner.
- Help create and update HR forms and documents.
- Schedule interviews, orientations, and training sessions.
- Manage employee status updates within the HR system and ensure all records are up to date.
- Assist with recruitment by posting job openings and coordinating interviews.
- Maintain employee files and ensure compliance with relevant laws, such as I-9 documentation requirements.
- Oversee the administration of the pre-employment process.
- Perform other HR-related duties as assigned.
- Track post-accident drug tests, random drug tests, and probation forms
- Handle payments for drug test and pre-employment invoices
- Carry out general clerical tasks with direct supervision and escalate complex issues when needed

- Bilingual English/Spanish preferred
