Trim-Med Home Care Agency is looking for a HR Coordinator for our office. Must be friendly and outgoing. The qualified HR Coordinator is responsible for providing day-to-day coordination of HR activities. It includes intake and processing of caregiver applications, scheduling orientation, and ensuring compliance with HR-related functions.
Pay $17-$23/hr
Responsibilities:
- Participate in the recruitment process, including job posting, resume screening, interviewing, and selection. Conduct effective onboarding processes to integrate new hires into the organization seamlessly. Such as entering new hires into the Home Care Registry; CHRC and HHA Exchange.
- Administer employee benefits programs, answer employee inquiries about benefits, and ensure accurate enrollment and eligibility processes.
- Following up with potential candidates regarding document submission and field/direct any HR-related questions.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date HHA records and HR documentation.
- Maintain and administer HHA training and in-service schedules.
- Assist with the completion of employment verification and request for job letters.
- Contribute to the maintenance of reports, including the pipeline.
- Prepare employees' ID badges.
- Process terminations in CHRC, Home Care Registry & HHA Exchange.
- Process changes of status such as activations and hold on leave.
- Inform the HR Director of any issues or concerns.
- Performs other duties as assigned by HR Director or as required.

Qualifications:
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience working with HHA Exchange software a plus
- CHRC/ REGISTRY Software a plus
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively with other teams.
- Knowledge of HR functions and policies is a plus.
- Ability to work under pressure, multi-task, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced work environment.
- Detail oriented
- Sensitivity to confidential matters- strong self-initiative, problem-solving skills, and time management.
- Maintains a positive and professional demeanor toward residents, visitors, families, and co-workers.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $17.00 - $23.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
