Position Summary
Resting at 7,000 feet and surrounded by the San Francisco Peaks, the scenic city of Flagstaff remains an important distribution site for large manufacturers like Nestlé Purina. Just a stone's throw from downtown, where the city's culture comes to life, we get to experience the best of both worlds: the city and the mountains. Annually, the Nestlé Purina team in Flagstaff proudly mass manufactures 280,000 tons of dry pet food from our Dog Chow®, Beneful®, Nestlé Purina ONE®, Alpo®, and Pro Plan® brands. Our factory is also proud to do our part to care for the environment, like conserving water, investing in renewable electricity and maintaining zero waste for disposal.
As a Human Resources Coordinator, you will primarily focus on providing support to factory personnel. You will also provide administrative and clerical support within the Human Resources Department. Responsibilities include maintaining employee files, administering employee programs, preparing reports, and maintaining appropriate filing systems. You will also support the employee activities committee including events/meeting organizations and community interactions.
+ Serves as a resource to all employees, providing superb customer service by answering questions, providing resources, and helping to resolve issues
+ Assist in recordkeeping, maintaining Human Resources files and databases, including time-tracking for payroll purposes
+ Assist with recruitment, onboarding, and employee orientation
+ Act as community outreach liaison to establish partnerships and resources
+ Answering phones and maintaining supplies
+ All other duties as assigned
Requirements
+ Education: High School Diploma or GED equivalent required
+ Experience: 1+ years' Human Resources, clerical, or customer service-related experience in a manufacturing, industrial, military or fast-paced related environment
The approximate range for this position is $46,000 - $58,000. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Final compensation may vary based on factors including, but not limited to, knowledge, skills, and abilities as well as geographic location.
