HR Coordinator:
Our client, a highly acclaimed university in the Cambridge, MA area, is looking to bring on HR Coordinator, to join their team. This is a great opportunity for someone who wants to gain more experience in an academic setting working in HR.
This position isa temporary only role for 3-4 months.
The right candidate for this opening must have 3-4 years of HR experience in an office setting, preferably someone who has come from higher education. They are open to someone who’s a recent graduation with someone internship or co-op experience, but the person needs to be sharp, bright, and professional. Must be able to be professional and handle confidential information at times. Will be dealing with faculty, staff, and student records at times. Some exposure to student visa experience would be ideal and have had faculty transaction experience. Someone who is detail oriented, a team player, articulate, friendly, and who is on time, are a must.

- Pay: $25-27/hr.
- Days/Hours:M-F, 9:00-5:00pm- 40/hrs./wk.
- This will require this person to work on a hybrid schedule of 3-days on-site and 2-days remotely.
- No covid vaccination require, but highly recommended.
- Must be able to successfully pass a background check
Job Details:
- Filing
- File pending items
- Print and file documents from share into existing files
- Create files for newly hired employees or other staff as needed, print and file new hire paperwork
- Pull terminated employee files, scan contents to share drive, then store physical items with other term employee files
- Data Entry
- Entering new hire information into SPD (affiliation, staff type, distributions, employment dates, title)
- Updating staff and faculty dates as needed (extensions, promotions, transfers, etc.)
- FSC & ST Lecturer appointments
- Resume Redaction
- Enterprise Awards
- Managing POs (payments/maintenance)
