Client Overview:
Our client is a risk management firm that is dedicated to growth and providing optimal support to their clients. They are actively seeking an HR Business Partner to join their team and take lead on employee relations and payroll reporting.
Salary/Hourly Rate:
$45 – $50/hr
Position Overview:
The ideal candidate will be a highly skilled HR Business Partner with over 5 years of experience in employee relations, benefits administration, and payroll reporting. The HR Business Partner should be a strategic thinker with a strong background in HR practices and a proven ability to foster positive employee relations and manage HR functions effectively.
Responsibilities of the HR Business Partner:
- Build and maintain positive relationships with employees at all levels, resolving issues and conflicts quickly and effectively
- Produce and analyze HR metrics and reports to offer insights and recommendations to senior management. Track HR trends and provide data-driven solutions to enhance HR processes
- Organize and conduct training programs for employees and managers to improve skills and knowledge. Support career development and succession planning
- Create and implement initiatives to boost employee engagement and satisfaction. Conduct surveys and analyze results to find areas for improvement
- Help develop and implement performance management programs, including appraisals, coaching, and development plans
- Ensure HR policies comply with federal, state, and local laws. Stay updated on HR regulations and adjust company policies as needed
- Oversee and manage the payroll process to ensure accuracy and timeliness. Prepare and analyze payroll reports, ensuring compliance with laws and regulations
- Manage employee benefits programs like health insurance and retirement plans. Ensure compliance with regulations and assist employees with benefits information
- Guide and support managers on employee relations matters
Qualifications for the HR Business Partner:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in HR, with a focus on employee relations, benefits administration, and payroll reporting
- Strong knowledge of HR laws and regulations
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Proven ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in HRIS and payroll software
- Certification in HR (e.g., PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, or SHRM-SCP) is a plus
Education Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related is required
