The HR Business Partner assists in the overall management of the HR Department and Personnel Issues. This individual provides support in the effective implementation of HR policies, Programs, and Practices in daily operations. The position assists in the supervision of the Human Resources staff and is responsible for the execution of the agency's personnel actions and activities in compliance with relevant Federal and CA Laws and Policies. Education and Experience - Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field; a Master's degree or relevant certification (like SHRM-CP) would be a plus.
- SHRM Certification preferred
- At least 3-5 years of experience in Human Resources, with at least 2 years in the home care or healthcare industry.
Skills and Qualifications - Highly organized and process-oriented individual
- HRIS database experience preferred
- Strong Microsoft Office skills experience
- Ability to produce high-quality work with attention to detail
- Bilingual is a plus
- Regular, reliable, and predictable performance required
- Strong leadership and excellent interpersonal relationship abilities are essential

Work Hours - Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM; Weekend as needed
Duties and Responsibilities - Provide administrative support to processes, maintain knowledge of practices, and administer the implementation of new programs.
- Administration of performance management of employees in the organization
- Assist in providing oversight and renewals for various benefit programs.
- Assist the CEO / Head of Human Resources in the implementation of organizational strategies according to business requirements and participate in associate meetings, prepares required presentations and facilitates the development of new Human Resource processes
- Help motivate, mentor and monitor employee performance –thereby minimize the risk of litigation or arbitration to ensure the effectiveness of Care Indeed programs to achieve company objectives
- Assist various clients to identify issues to achieve business objectives and ensure compliance with Federal and CA laws, and manages communication for employee issues.
- Provide training to employees regarding company policies to achieve objectives, and recommend appropriate solutions for Human Resource issues.
- Monitor Worker's Compensation issues according to safety programs and prepare reports for government agencies
- Ensure that employees receive ongoing education, including in-service, training and other activities to maintain and improve staff competence.
- Ensure that employees meet their required mandatory training, keeps records of in-service training and files employee's certificates of attendance in the employee personnel folder
- Ensure that employees are meeting the performance expectations stated in their job descriptions by collaborating with the supervisors
- Ensure that employees comply with the mandatory requirements for employment
- Hear and resolves employee grievances; counsels and disciplines employees
- Ensures legal compliance by monitoring and implementing applicable Human Resource federal and state requirements; conducting investigations; maintaining records, and representing the organization at hearings
- Responsible for other miscellaneous duties, including the following:
- Maintain strict professional ethics, confidentiality, and privacy of the client and family members
- Participate in personnel policies revisions, and assumes responsibility for own personal and professional growth
- Maintain the work structure by updating job requirements and job descriptions for positions
- Conduct and analyze entrance and exit interviews; recommend changes
- Attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing networks; and participate in professional societies
