Job Summary:
This is an exciting opportunity to join our dynamic corporate office HR team. As an HR Business Partner, you will play a pivotal role in supporting designated teams within our corporate office by offering hands-on human resources guidance. Collaborating closely with our leadership, you will drive full-cycle HR initiatives, support the execution of our talent strategies, and champion continuous improvement in all HR functions. Your expertise will help shape a strong workplace culture and contribute to our ongoing success.
Job Responsibilities:
+ Act as a strategic HR Business Partner to functional leaders and employees, implementing HR strategies to achieve business objectives within the corporate offices in Texas.
+ Provide expert counsel and guidance on employee relations issues to staff and leadership.
+ Collaborate with leadership on career development, organizational design, and talent evaluation for their respective teams.
+ Advise employees on HR policy questions.
+ Support and enhance the TIS and FSSC summer intern programs by coordinating closely with HR team members, managers and leaders to ensure a positive intern experience.
+ Identify and coordinate appropriate training programs for assigned groups.
+ Develop and manage engagement and wellness activities for the TIS and FSSC offices to improve overall awareness and morale.
+ Partner with leaders and HR in yearly Talent Reviews.
+ Partner with the rest of the Corporate HR and team in regard to corporate office related event and initiatives.
+ Partner with recruiters and hiring managers to set recruitment strategies, workforce planning strategies, and oversee the recruitment process.
+ Perform fundamental data submissions, reports, policy applications and procedures with accuracy and in a timely manner from which the request was received.
+ Ensure the privacy of employee personnel records, including personal and compensation information.
+ Perform other duties and special projects as assigned.
+ Travel approximately 10% as required.
Qualifications
Education/Experience:
+ Bachelor's degree in Business required; Human Resources or other related degree preferred
+ Minimum 2 years of related experience
Skills/Competencies:
+ HR experience
+ Comfort around leaders
+ Able to build trust and strong relationships
+ Ability to adapt and work in a fast-paced, changing environment
+ Detail oriented
+ Ability to independently and effectively manage multiple projects and priorities
+ Strong sense of urgency and personal commitment
+ Experience in operating in a matrix organization
+ Strong excel, outlook and PowerPoint skills
