We are seeking a dynamic and experienced HR Business Partner for our Consumer Goods division in the Engineering industry. This is a permanent, full-time position that will serve as a key member of our leadership team. The HR Business Partner will be responsible for aligning business objectives with employees and management, serving as a consultant to management on HR-related issues, and acting as an employee champion and change agent. This role requires 5+ years of experience in a similar role, preferably within the Engineering or Consumer Goods industry.
Responsibilities:
1. Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy.
2. Bridge management and employee relations by addressing demands, grievances, or other issues.
3. Manage the recruitment and selection process to ensure a high caliber and diverse workforce.
4. Support current and future business needs through the development, engagement, motivation, and preservation of human capital.
5. Develop and monitor overall HR strategies, systems, tactics, and procedures across the organization.
6. Nurture a positive working environment by maintaining a strong awareness of morale, employee engagement, and company culture.
7. Oversee and manage a performance appraisal system that drives high performance.
8. Assess training needs to apply and monitor training programs.
9. Report to management and provide decision support through HR metrics.
10. Ensure legal compliance throughout the human resource management process.
Qualifications:
1. Proven working experience as an HR Business Partner, with at least 8 years in a similar role.
2. People-oriented and results-driven, with demonstrable experience managing HR metrics.
3. Knowledge of HR systems and databases, with the ability to architect strategy along with leadership skills.
4. Excellent active listening, negotiation, and presentation skills.
5. Competence to build and effectively manage interpersonal relationships at all levels of the company.
6. In-depth knowledge of labor law and HR best practices.
7. Degree in Human Resources or related field.
8. Experience in the Consumer Goods and/or Engineering industry preferred.
9. Demonstrated ability to provide HR insights that drive strategic decision-making.
10. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to balance competing priorities, complex situations, and tight deadlines.
11. Demonstrated experience as a trusted resource with a commitment to maintaining confidentiality.
