Join our clients team as an HR Benefits Specialist in Philadelphia, PA. This temp-to-perm role is focused on leave of absence administration, serving as the subject matter expert for FMLA, ADA accommodations, short- and long-term disability leaves, and other employee benefits programs. The Specialist will ensure compliance with legal requirements, provide exceptional service to employees, and support various benefits-related functions.
Compensation: $33/hour
Location: Philadelphia, PA
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM

Responsibilities as the HR Benefits Specialist:
- Leave Administration: Oversee and process employee leave programs, ensuring compliance with laws.
- Eligibility and Compliance: Determine leave eligibility, manage notices, and coordinate ADA accommodation processes.
- Payroll Coordination: Collaborate with payroll to process employee leaves and absences accurately.
- Benefits Administration: Support benefits administration, including enrollments and qualifying life events.
- Audit and Reporting: Conduct audits, maintain OSHA logs, and generate reports as needed.
- Communication and Support: Maintain communication with employees on leave to ensure timely return-to-work.
- Education: Bachelors degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years in benefits administration, insurance, finance, or human resources, with a focus on leave management.
- Technical Skills: Proficient in Google Workspace, Microsoft Office Suite, and familiarity with ADP Workforce Now.
- Knowledge: Strong understanding of FMLA, ADA, OSHA, COBRA, and Workers Compensation laws.
- Skills: Strong customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills, with attention to detail, organizational abilities, problem-solving skills, and discretion.
