We are currently seeking a Benefits Manager to assist with the administration of all benefits programs, including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short- and long-term disability and wellness plans. As part of the HR team, you will partner closely with our HR Director to manage the benefits and wellness plans within the Firm.

Responsibilities:- Serve as primary contact for employees, respond to benefits inquiries on plan provisions, enrollment, status changes and other general inquiries.
- Provide customer service support to internal and external customers including carriers and third party administrators.
- Effectively interprets FMLA and ADA implications as they relate to leaves of absences/disabilities. Partner with leave administrators to process employee LOA’s. Experience with Sparrow or another external leave administrator a plus!
- Administer the firm’s workers compensation program and process ergonomic requests
- Ensure the accuracy of all benefits enrollments in the HRIS to provide vendors with accurate eligibility information.
- Process life events within the HRIS.
- Ensure timeliness and accuracy of required billing reconciliation, reporting and fees.
- Develop communication tools to enhance the understanding of the firm’s benefits package.
- Oversee maintenance of employee benefits, maintain HRIS and update employee payroll records as needed.
- Assist with orientations and open enrollment by designing. presenting and distributing materials to stakeholders.
- Partner with payroll team to perform quality checks of benefits-related data
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations concerning benefits administration, including compliance reporting for carriers.
- Collaborate with HR leadership to align benefits programs with organizational goals and employee needs.
- Conduct regular audits of benefits plans to ensure accuracy and effectiveness.
- Other tasks or duties as assigned.
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 3-5 years of experience in benefits administration or a related area.
- Experience in UKG strongly preferred but not required.
- Experience with Sparrow or another external leave administrator preferred
- Strong knowledge of benefits regulations, including ERISA, COBRA, and ACA.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects, adapt to change quickly and work with a sense of urgency.
- Proficiency in HRIS and benefits management software.
The salary range for this position is $120,000 - $140,000. This pay range reflects the San Francisco Bay Area region. Compensation will be adjusted for each candidate, based on their geographic location.
