Our Ideal Candidate

We are seeking a full-time HR Assistant. The ideal candidate will be someone who is looking to enter, or continue their career, in the HR industry and has a strong desire to improve their experience and skill set. They will be dependable with an adventurous personality and have the ability to connect and work well with a diverse workforce. Someone who will thrive in a family oriented and goal driven environment.

Job Duties:

• Provide administrative and clerical support to Human Resource team and department personnel
• Input and track all Human Resource data entries
• Partner with managers and supervisors to determine staffing needs
• Coordinate pre-employment drug testing and criminal/credit background checks
• Assist with orientations, on-boarding and processing of new hire paperwork including I-9 verification in both English and Spanish
• Develop and maintains excellent relationships with internal and external clients
• Assist in the training and development of employees
• Demonstrate professional and dependable behavior at all times, maintain confidentiality with all sensitive material and communications
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• Proficient in communicating via phone, email, and in person in both English and Spanish
• The ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong analytic skills with ability to create, measure, and scale the right workflow while assisting the recruiting team
• Superior organizational skills; ability to multi-task
• Successful in a fast-paced environment; ability to execute quickly and efficiently
• A valid driver's license

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

• Associates Degree or equivalent work experience in business, communications, human resources or related discipline (experience in the construction industry strongly preferred)
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (All Applications)

LANGUAGE SKILLS

• Bi-lingual fluency in both English and Spanish languages is required
