Key Responsibilities:
Recruitment and Onboarding: Partner with hiring managers to identify staffing needs and manage the recruitment process.
Conduct interviews, coordinate onboarding activities, and ensure a seamless new hire experience.
Employee Relations: Act as the first point of contact for employee inquiries and concerns.
Mediate workplace conflicts and support resolution processes in alignment with company policies.
Policy Implementation and Compliance: Ensure adherence to federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
Maintain and update HR policies, procedures, and employee handbooks.
Performance Management: Support performance review processes and assist in developing improvement plans.
Partner with managers to address employee performance issues and provide coaching as needed.
Training and Development: Identify training needs and coordinate professional development opportunities for employees.
Conduct HR-related training sessions, such as workplace safety and harassment prevention.
Compensation and Benefits: Administer employee benefits programs and assist employees with inquiries.
Collaborate with payroll to ensure accurate and timely processing.
Health and Safety: Promote a culture of workplace safety in collaboration with the health and safety team.
Support the implementation of safety programs and compliance initiatives.
HR Metrics and Reporting: Maintain accurate employee records and generate HR reports as needed.
Analyze trends in HR metrics to recommend improvements in processes or policies.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
3+ years of experience in an HR role, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
Solid understanding of HR principles, employment laws, and best practices.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport across all levels of the organization.
Proficiency in HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
Exceptional problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Certification in HR (e.g., PHR, SHRM-CP) is a plus.
