HR Assistant - Ultimate Staffing Services

Ultimate Staffing is seeking a Junior HR Specialist to join a growing Manufacturing company in Lake Forest, CA. This position is perfect for someone who is looking to make a significant impact on employee relations and HR management. You will work closely with the Operations Manager and VP of the company and be the go-to person for our employees, ensuring a positive and efficient workplace.

Location: Onsite, Lake Forest

Employment Type: Full Time

Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Salary: $62,000 - $65,000 annually ( DOE)

Company Overview: With over 40 years of experience in Contract Electronics Manufacturing (CEM), team of 100 employees.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage time & attendance using Time Track software
• Handle time off and vacation requests, and maintain the master vacation calendar
• Support with the open enrollment process for benefits
• Interface daily with employees, addressing general questions and safety concerns
• Assist with conflict resolution and injury forms
• Coordinate employee events, including lunches, parties, and the employee of the month program
• Manage onboarding and termination paperwork
• Document HR processes and manage performance reviews
• Serve as a friendly and approachable presence for employees

Desired Skills and Experience:

• 1-2 years of HR Experience within a manufacturing environment: Previous experience in HR or a related field is preferred.
• Time & Attendance Management: Must have experience handling time and attendance records.
• Multilingual Skills: Bilingual in Spanish or Vietnamese is preferred due to our diverse workforce.
• Interpersonal Skills: Strong communication and conflict resolution skills.
• Organizational Skills: Ability to manage multiple tasks and maintain detailed records.
