About the Job
Our Services client located in Telford is looking for a Human Resources Assistant on a Direct Hire Basis with a salary up to $65K with full benefits. The ideal person will be responsible for handling day-to-day tasks related to employment and functions of the HR department in support of the mission and goals of the company and through a collaborative, service-oriented approach. Primary areas of responsibility will be recruitment, onboarding, benefits and leave administration, policy and practices development and enforcement, and continual HRIS improvement.
- Review, track, and document compliance with mandatory and non-mandatory training, continuing education, and work assessments. This may include safety training, anti-harassment training, professional licensure, and aptitude exams and certifications.
- Perform routine tasks required to administer and execute human resource programs including but not limited to compensation, benefits, and leave; disciplinary matters; disputes and investigations; performance and talent management; productivity, recognition, and morale; and training and development.
- Handle employment-related inquiries from applicants, employees, and supervisors, referring complex and/or sensitive matters to the appropriate staff.
- Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices; review policies and practices to maintain compliance.
- Maintain knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law.
- Seek to continually improve HR practices and HRIS functionality.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
