Job Summary:
The HR Administrator at Johnson Brothers Ford is responsible for providing administrative support to the Human Resources department. This individual will work closely with management and employees to ensure the smooth operation of all HR functions. The HR Administrator will also play a critical role in maintaining accurate and up-to-date employee records and assisting with various HR projects.
Compensation & Benefits:
This is a full-time, salaried position with competitive pay and benefits package. The exact compensation will be determined based on the candidate's qualifications and experience.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain and update employee records, including personal information, benefits, and salary data
- Maintain confidentiality of files and information conducted in the HR office.
- Assist with prescreening and preemployment testing
- Process new hire paperwork, terminations, and other employee status changes
- Assist with employee onboarding and offboarding processes
- Coordinate and schedule interviews, orientations, and training programs
- Ensure all required forms and paperwork are completed accurately and in a timely manner maintaining compliance with all laws and regulations
- Answer employee inquiries regarding payroll, benefits, and company policies
- Assist with the implementation and communication of HR policies and procedures
- Conduct audits to ensure compliance with state and federal employment regulations
- Assist with employee relations issues as needed
- Provide expertise on dealership policies and procedures
- Assist in the planning and execution of employee engagement events
- Collaborate with managers to identify staffing needs and assist with the recruitment and selection processing
- Maintain and update job descriptions as needed
Requirements:
- At least 2 years previous experience in an HR administrative role
- Working knowledge of HR best practices and employment laws
- Excellent communication, organizational, and time-management skills
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain confidentiality
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
