Position Overview:
Atrium is seeking an engaged and motivated HR Administrator. We are seeking a highly competent HR Administrator to manage the Human Resources operations of our company. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of Human Resources practices and processes. They will support business needs and ensure the proper implementation of company strategy and objectives. The HR Administrator will report to the Director of Human Resources and collaborate with the HR team to ensure a smooth and efficient HR operation.
Responsibilities of the HR Administrator:
- Verification of Employment:
- Responding to employee verification requests from Associates, and third parties, including government agencies, mortgage and loan companies, prospective employers, etc. within the established SLAs.
- Unemployment Claims:
- Processing all unemployment claims including calculation of gross income when requested. Scanning and emailing documents to vendor daily.
- Investigating fraudulent claims and working with state authorities in tracking down the Associates.
- Coordinating fact-finding proceedings and hearing notices with appropriate parties.
- Background Checks:
- Assisting in the background screening process, coordinating with onboarding teams as needed to determine the appropriate scope of background checks, and requesting the appropriate background check(s) through the third-party vendor or other sources within the established SLAs.
- Monitoring and adjudicating the report results, ensuring compliance with written adverse communications when necessary.
- Other:
- Monitoring HR Voicemail Box and responding to requests within the established SLAs.
- Monitoring HR email and escalating if the issue is urgent or time-sensitive (via telephone call, text, or other communication method to quickly engage the HR Team.
- Assisting with I-9 documents/work authorization inquiries.
- Corresponding with client audits for information.
- Gathering data for metrics, and tracking for management reports.
- Participating in project work.
- Other duties as assigned by the manager.
Qualifications for the HR Administrator:
- High initiative, ownership thinking, sound judgment, good communication, and analytical skills.
- Ability to provide professional customer service and respond to incoming inquiries quickly and accurately.
- Highly detail-oriented.
- Ability to interact with the team and assist executive management.
- Ability to manage and maintain highly sensitive and confidential data.
- Microsoft Office Suite Skills, including Excel proficiency.
- Strong organization and prioritization abilities in a constantly changing environment.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to sit for extended periods of time.
- Travel, when needed.
Education Requirements:
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree is preferred.
