HR Administrative Assistant
Pay: $26-$30 per hour
POSITION SUMMARY:
As an HR Administrative Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting the HR department by handling various administrative tasks. Your responsibilities will include maintaining employee records, updating databases, assisting with payroll preparation, and coordinating HR and other administrative projects. The ideal candidate must have excellent organizational skills, a passion for HR, and a desire to contribute to a positive workplace.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Maintain Employee Records:
- Keep both soft and hard copies of employee records up to date.
- Ensure accuracy and confidentiality in record-keeping.
Update HR Databases:
- Input relevant data, such as new hires, separations, vacation, and sick leaves.
- Assist in payroll preparation by providing necessary information (e.g., absences, bonuses, and leaves).
Prepare HR Paperwork:
- Assist in organizing paperwork related to HR policies and procedures.
Process Employees' Requests:
- Address queries and provide relevant information to employees.
- Handle requests promptly and professionally.
Coordinate HR Projects and Meetings:
- Collaborate with team members to organize HR and administrative related projects, meetings, and training.
- Provide office support, manage monthly supply orders, and assist with new hire onboarding.
- Schedule appointments, meetings, and conferences.
- Handle bill uploads to bill.com.
- Perform clerical tasks such as mail processing and filing.
- Assist with project management for special initiatives.
- Manage the Hospice Calendar.
- Handle document management tasks, including updating spreadsheets, preparing meeting agendas, and editing documents.
- Ensure proper management of employee files.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Proven Work Experience:
- Previous experience as an HR Administrative Assistant or Administrative Assistant.
HR Software Familiarity:
- Hands-on experience with HR software, specifically ADP Workforce Now (ADP WFN).
Computer Literacy:
- Proficiency in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
Skills:
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Strong teamwork abilities.
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in human resources or a relevant field.
