Job Overview: Under direction, performs assigned Human Resources responsibilities at the property level.

Responsibilities and Duties:
- Maintains responsibility for and properly handles all assigned HR duties
- Ensures all records are filed correctly and are retained for the required length of time.
- Maintains employee personnel files, ensuring all required information is included in all files.
- Accurately records and maintains employees’ work schedules: hours worked and dollar amounts.
- Assists in the administration of benefits to include processing required documents through payroll, engaging associates in participation, and reconciling billing.
- Administers worker’s compensation programs.
- Performs orientation of new hires and documents terminations.
- Plans, organizes and conducts employee engagement functions.
- Assists HRD with various research projects and/or special projects
Specific Job Knowledge and Skills:
- Some knowledge of EEOC and employment laws.
- Ability to work under strict deadlines.
- Ability to sit for long periods of time.
- Ability to effect number facility.
- Ability to effectively deal with employees and applicants, some of whom will require high levels of patience, tact and diplomacy to defuse anger and collect accurate information.

Qualifications:
Education:
Any combination of education and experience equivalent to graduation from high school or any other combination of education, training or experience that provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities. College degree preferred.
Experience:
One year prior comparable human resources experience preferred.
Grooming:
All employees must maintain a neat, clean and well-groomed appearance (specific standards available).
Other:
Additional language ability preferred
