Strategic Staffing Solutions is currently looking for a HR Benefits Specialist for a contract opportunity with one of our largest clients located in Detroit, MI!
Title: HR Benefits Specialist
Location: Detroit, MI (Hybrid schedule – onsite 3 days a week)
Duration: 3+ Months
Role Type: W2 Contract Engagement
Pay Rate: $30-34/hr
Engagement Description
Provide support in retirement administration. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
1) Corresponding to participant’s inquiries related to retirement programs and processes
2) Reconciling employee data
3) Preparing and reviewing retirement communications
4) Process incoming retirement paperwork
5) Assisting with internal and external audits
6) Assisting with projects as needed
Top 3 Required Skills/Experience
• Proficient in MS Office – especially with Excel
• Excellent time management and organizational skills
• Work well independently and collaboratively with team members and other departments
Required Skills/Experience
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent customer service skills
• Good verbal and written communication skills
Preferred Skills/Experience
• Working knowledge of applicable HR Laws (i.e. ERISA, FLSA, OHSA)
• Three (3) years of experience in HR environment or related field
Education/Certifications
• Bachelor's Degree in Business Admin., Computer Science, Human Resource Mgt or related area is highly preferred
