Job Description:
HPE's M&A Integration Team sits within our Corporate Development organization, which is part of the Office of the CFO. The team works directly with HPE's senior executives to define, analyze, and shape HPE's overall M&A integration strategy, and ensure the financial and operational targets of each transaction are fully realized.
The M&A Lead-to-Cash Program Manager will be part of the M&A Integration team, reporting to the Senior Director, Global M&A Integration while supporting the broader Integration Management Office (IMO) across all active transactions. This individual will be responsible for ensuring the successful L2C (Lead-to-Cash) integration of an acquired company's associated suite of business tools & processes. Key focus areas include thought leadership, cross-functional coordination of integration planning, and executional oversight for L2C deliverables managed by core functional teams such as Marketing, Global Sales, Global Ops/Supply Chain, Support & Services, IT, Finance, and Legal.
This includes documenting the acquired company's business processes and capabilities, assessing related impacts on the overall deal business case, identifying and prioritizing L2C use cases and L2C integration scope required to deliver deal value, as well as cross-functionally coordinating the development of IT feature requests, business requirements and investment recommendations, and both user and end-to-end testing of new IT application features including developing and delivering an MOC plan for new L2C capabilities. This role will also manage the alignment and prioritization of M&A relevant investments within Global IT's annual plan of record.
This role requires robust project management, collaboration and communication skills to influence across all levels, swift problem solving, and broad understanding of HPE operations across BUs and functions. Broad technology industry operations experience and/or extensive HPE operations experience in systems / tools / process improvement and innovation is required. The ability to cope with ambiguity, high peak workloads, and tight deadlines is a must.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead the L2C workstream across global acquisition, divestiture, and select strategic programs
Coordinate the integration scope for Lead-to-Cash integration or separation in close collaboration with the global functions
- Create detailed L2C integration plans for interim and end-state models, including key deliverables, timelines, risk mitigation, Management of Change (MoC), and Training
- Assess L2C capabilities both internally and externally- understanding documenting gaps and related impacts on customers, partners, and the BU actively acquiring or divesting
- Develop the L2C solutions for a Transition Services Agreement (TSA) program accompanying a divestiture
- Recommend investment decisions to expand HPE L2C capabilities in support of acquired business models
- Establish and manage a L2C governance process and communication plan for M&A stakeholders, including Global functions leadership
- Establish, collaborate and nurture partnerships with stakeholders in the businesses and global functions
- Develop structured L2C integration frameworks and playbooks to ensure consistency
- Conduct Retrospectives for each deal to institutionalize key learnings
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business or related field; MBA preferred
- 10+ Project management experience; PMP preferred
- Experience in M&A integration, Lead-to-Cash functions, or large-scale business transformation programs
- Strong written and verbal communication, and executive presentation skills
- Proven track record of delivering results through influencing and collaborating cross-functionally in highly matrixed program structures
- Demonstrated ability to develop overall strategic direction while also maintaining detailed oversight of program execution
- Addition: Coordinate Customer, Partner, and internal Field MoC and Comms for a cohesive and consistent Sales experience
- Mergers & Acquisition experience require
- Tech Industry experience is a must
