We are looking for an experienced Housing Occupancy Specialist - Administrative Assistant – Part-Time.
** Part-Time with Full Benefits **
Housing Occupancy Specialist - Administrative Assistant Qualifications:
- Must have solid experience in HUD occupancy procedures.
- Must have knowledge of Property Manager Software – BostonPost a Plus.
- Must be familiar with HUD regulations.
- Detail-oriented and ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
- Must have good computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
Housing Occupancy Specialist - Administrative Assistant Introduction:
The Housing Occupancy Specialist will be responsible for implementing HUD rules and regulations when processing tenant verifications and recertifications; assuring all paperwork is verified, signed, dated and completed by specific timelines/deadlines; maintaining housing application waitlist and eligibility requirements; work with tenants on a daily basis.
Housing Occupancy Specialist - Administrative Assistant Job Summary:
- Assist with annual tenant recertification process.
- Assist with annual waitlist update process and file management.
- Assist with annual tenant unit inspections.
- Assist with the preparation of internal or MOR audits.
- Assist with the preparation and maintenance of HUD housing policies and procedures.
- Prepare and assist with housing inspections such as HUD, REAC, DHCD, City, etc.
- Answer housing questions and give facility tours upon request.
- Mail applications to individuals upon request.
- Enter application data in BostonPost software.
- Assist with maintenance work order requests.
- Assist with new tenant move-in preparation.
- Prepare for monthly tenant meetings and create minutes from the meeting.
- Assist with inventory and purchase of supplies.
- Sort mail and send invoices to Accounts Payable.
- Assist with tenant events.
- Assist with bank deposits, finance related mailings and annual file set-ups.
