18 years of age or older
High School Diploma or its equivalent
PREFERRED- Bachelor’s degree in communication, marketing, business or related field and/or a real estate certification/license
and/or two years equivalent experience in housing placement, real estate, sales, and/or property management.
Since this position requires a great deal of interaction with people, well-developed interpersonal skills are critical.
Demonstrated computer literacy and capability to maintain well-organized records and files.
Ability to follow instructions is critical to this position.
Ability to multi-task, work under pressure and manage time is also an essential component of this position.
Demonstrated ability to effectively navigate and maintain professional boundaries as custodian of confidential information.
Certification in an approved First-Aid and CPR class; or successfully complete an approved First-Aid and CPR class within 45 days
of the date of hire.
Ability to travel for meetings, conferences, seminars and trainings.
California insured, registered vehicle in safe working condition, and proof of current driver’s license.
Position Requirements
Ability to travel within and throughout the counties in which services are provided a minimum of 75% of the time.
Ability to travel in and throughout the state on a quarterly basis to attend meetings, trainings, etc.
Successful completion of pre-employment drug screen and background check.
Acceptable DMV record.
Physical evaluations may be required dependent upon specific assigned duties or compliance requirements and may include a
TB test and/or a lift and transfer test.
This position requires employees to be fully vaccinated and boosted against Covid-19.

The employee will experience normal office conditions with a well-lighted work area and minor noise from standard office
equipment. In the community the employee will be working in community environments, employment sites and office

This position requires the employee to regularly stand, walk, sit, talk and hear. Capable of writing, using a computer keyboard,
telephone and related office equipment. Ability to lift 25lbs required. Appropriate and professional dress is expected.
When in the office, this position will normally spend long periods of time in a sitting position (60% of the day).
He/she/they may use a computer, which would involve repetitive finger, hand and wrist motion (60% of the day) and require being
able to see the computer screen (60% of the day). When in the field, other physical exertion could involve walking, climbing stairs,
lifting, stretching, bending, etc. (40%)
The Housing Coordinator is expected to perform duties assigned during regular working hours. Occasionally, the Housing Coordinator
may be called upon to work in the evenings or on weekends. Unless otherwise stipulated, a normal workweek will be forty hours.
