  Responsibilities:

• Ensure that all room attendants on the floors have an adequate supply of linen.
• Clean ash urns on elevator landings and maintain the cleanliness of ice machines and rooms on each floor.
• Empty room attendant linen bags throughout the day and dispose of trash. All bags should be securely tied before being sent down the linen chute.
• Move furniture in rooms as directed by the Floor Supervisor.
• Clean bathroom tiles in rooms as assigned by the Executive Housekeeper.
• Ensure that all baseboards, moldings, and entrance doors are kept free of dust and dirt at all times.
• Vacuum all landings and common areas.
• Sweep balconies as needed.
• Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned. The employee is expected to assist in other areas of the hotel when necessary, contributing to the smooth operation of the hotel, even if the tasks are not explicitly mentioned in this job description.

Qualifications and Skills:

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Ability to communicate, both verbally and written, effectively with guests, vendors and co-workers

Languages: English oral and written, is required for this position
