Job Summary:
Join Seabrook Hospitality as a Housekeeping Support Driver, where you'll play a pivotal role in maintaining our facilities' cleanliness and efficiency. Responsible for transporting linens, supplies, and staff between locations, you'll ensure seamless operations. Your duties include stocking housekeeping caddies, collecting dirty linens, delivering guest orders, and monitoring areas for trash collection. Additionally, you'll assist with heavy lifting, special projects, and pool towel transportation. Job Duties and Responsibilities (Essential Functions):
- Safely transport linens, supplies, and equipment between designated locations, including but not limited to hotels, resorts, and vacation rentals.
- Assist housekeeping staff by stocking caddies with necessary supplies, such as toiletries and cleaning products, to ensure they have everything needed to perform their duties efficiently.
- Maintain housekeeping caddies and regularly stock supplies.
- Collect dirty linens from guest rooms and other designated areas and transport them to the appropriate laundry facilities for cleaning.
- Deliver guest requests, amenities, and other orders to designated rooms or locations in a timely manner, ensuring exceptional customer service at all times.
- Monitor assigned areas throughout the day and at the end of the shift to collect trash, soiled linen, and other items as assigned by management.
- Provide assistance to the housekeeping team with heavy lifting and special projects as directed, ensuring a safe working environment for all staff.
- Transport towels to the pools as needed to ensure guests have access to clean towels for their enjoyment.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the company vehicle, conduct routine inspections, and report any maintenance issues to the appropriate personnel.
- Reports missing / found articles, damage or merchandise problems to the housekeeping supervisor and managers.
- Transport laundry items and other equipment to and from the off-site laundry facility.
- Responds at all times in a friendly, helpful manner to guests and other colleagues.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with a friendly and approachable demeanor.
- Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail, with the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and maintenance.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; certification in hospitality management or related field is a plus.
- Proven experience in a customer service role, preferably in the hospitality industry.
- Valid State-issued driver’s license, state minimum insurance, and clean driving record required.
- DOT Physical required.
- Flexibility to work varying shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Physical Requirements:
- Visually or otherwise identify, observe and assess distance, color, and depth
- Required to regularly communicate with others and exchange accurate information.
- Frequently move up to 25 pounds and occasionally move up to 75 pounds.
- Prolonged periods walking, standing, bending, sitting, stretching, pushing, pulling, or kneeling.
- Must be able to work within different temperature changes, indoors to outdoors; moving between buildings and working around moving equipment/machines; occasionally ascend/descend a ladder or stairs as required, stooping /bending, pushing/pulling.
- Ability to work overhead and at heights up to and occasionally exceeding 40 Feet.
- Occasional exposure to moving objects and other machines in operation; Occasionally exposed to dust, gas/fumes, airborne particles, extreme heat or cold, electric shock, vibration, chemicals; and noise.
Employment Status: Full-Time
