About the Job
General Purpose:
Assists in maintaining a clean and safe operating condition of buildings of GLOCK, Inc. and GLOCK owned facilities, which includes company house and company apartment.
Shift(s):
- 2nd shift (2:00 PM to 10:00 PM) Monday through Friday
Supervisory Responsibilities:
- None
Duties and Responsibilities (other duties may be assigned):
- Monitor cleaning supplies and paper products. Fill out purchase request when supplies need to be reordered and forward to Facility Manager to be placed on order.
- Clean facility floors, which includes mopping or vacuuming restrooms, office area, break rooms, conference rooms, and training room floors. Strip and wax VCT floors
- Sweep sidewalks, Wash windows and clean entrance glass doors, pick up trash around outside of building.
- Empty trash from rest rooms, office area, break rooms, conference rooms, and training room.
- Cleaning and emptying out ashtrays.
- Clean GLOCK company house and apartment which includes but not limited to cleaning floors, kitchen, making beds, dusting, cleaning bathrooms, and washing towels and bed linen, check refrigerator for outdated food and removing trash for disposal.
- Ensures proper care in the use of equipment and supplies; promotes continuous improvement of workplace safety and environmental practices.
- Driving a variety of company vehicles such as, but not limited to, trucks, golf carts, SUV’s
- Follows fire safety procedures and regulations.
- Ability to work various shifts
- Ability to operate floor-cleaning equipment.
- Ability to understand and follow safety procedures.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Education and/or Experience:
High school diploma or GED |
1 - 2 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience |
Knowledge of Janitorial methods and procedures |
Knowledge of the materials, supplies and equipment utilized in Janitorial activities. |
License and Certifications:
Must have a valid Georgia Driver’s License |

Work involves moderate exposure to unusual elements, such as extreme temperatures, dirt, dust, fumes, smoke, and unpleasant odors. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to occasionally loud.
