Job Summary
The Housekeeping Manager plays a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and overall appearance of the facility. This position is responsible for overseeing the housekeeping staff, ensuring that all areas are cleaned to the highest standards, and managing daily operations within the housekeeping department. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in housekeeping management, preferably within the hotel or hospitality industry, and possess excellent leadership skills.

Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate daily housekeeping operations, ensuring all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
- Train, mentor, and evaluate housekeeping staff to maintain high standards of cleanliness and service.
- Develop and implement cleaning schedules and procedures for various areas, including guest rooms, public spaces, and back-of-house facilities.
- Conduct regular inspections of all areas to ensure compliance with cleanliness standards and address any issues promptly.
- Manage inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, ensuring adequate stock levels while minimizing waste.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless operations and guest satisfaction.
- Handle guest inquiries and complaints related to housekeeping services in a professional manner.
- Stay updated on industry best practices in housekeeping management, floor care, industrial cleaning, and custodial services.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in housekeeping management within the hotel or hospitality sector is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques, floor care procedures, and custodial practices.
- Excellent leadership abilities with a focus on team development and motivation.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail to ensure high standards of cleanliness are met consistently.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as needed.
- Effective communication skills to interact with staff, guests, and other departments professionally.
