Position Overview
To embody The Sorrel River Ranch standard by exceeding guest expectations in all areas of service. Work tirelessly to execute The Sorrel River Ranch mission through supporting The Sorrel River Ranch operations team and stepping up to complete all tasks that need to be do. We are looking for a diligent Housekeeper to attend to assist in keeping all areas clean and sanitary. To be successful as a Housekeeper, you should be committed to working hard and have the physical stamina to be on your feet and moving for the duration of your shifts. You should be friendly and helpful to customers and have dedicated team working skills.
Position Responsibilities
- Cleaning: Vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, dusting, and cleaning windows
- Trash: emptying trash cans and recycling
- Linens: Changing bed linens and making beds
- Laundry: Washing dishes, laundry, ironing
- Maintenance: Maintaining the aesthetic upkeep of all guest rooms, public areas, and the surrounding areas outside
- Greeting guests and responding to their questions or concerns
- Maintaining a clean, and organized housing cart or basket
- Moving, rearranging, and dusting furniture and fixtures
- Polishing doors and doorknobs
- Must be able to complete ten -twelve rooms per day.
- Report on any safety concerns to management
Education/Experience
- Prior experience with housekeeping preferred.
- A high school diploma or equivalent.
- A friendly, polite, and courteous nature.
- Strong customer service and team working skills.
- Physical stamina to work long hours on your feet.
- Must be able to lift to thirty-five pounds.
- Must be able to work a flexible work schedule including days, nights, weekends and holidays.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
