Summersville Place Apartments, in Summersville, WV, is looking for a Part-Time Housekeeper to join our team.
Job Summary
The Housekeeper The housekeeper plays an important role in maintaining a great first impression and is responsible for daily cleaning multi-family apartment community offices, resident amenities, vacant units, and internal and external common areas.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Daily cleaning and sanitizing of the leasing offices, clubhouses, kitchen, model(s), hallways and/or any other common areas, including vacuuming, mopping, and dusting when necessary
- Work with the Property Manager to ensure vacant units are cleaned and ready for rent.
- Picks up and empties trash containers in the leasing office and common areas.
- Clean and sanitize common area laundry room(s) as needed.
- Notifies maintenance if something is not working properly.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Detail-oriented and thorough.
- Ability to remain discreet and respect the privacy of residents, tenants, and/or guests.
- Sufficient ability to read, write, speak, understand, and communicate in English to complete work efficiently, effectively, and courteously.
Education and Experience:
- Education sufficient to read, write, and speak as needed for the job.
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods of standing and walking and frequently pulling, pushing, and bending.
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 25 pounds at times.
Part-Time - $13.00 per hour
