Housekeeper - Hire Society

A private family seeks an experienced and hardworking Housekeeper to help manage their two homes in the Hamptons. The position is a year-round role with a four-five-day work week. Flexibility is required during the summer season to work extra days and weekends. The typical schedule is from 12:00pm- 8:00pm, with some flexibility. The ideal candidate should be extremely detail-oriented, have strong knowledge of deep cleaning services in addition to primary housekeeping duties, and have a proactive attitude toward keeping the home in pristine condition.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• All aspects of general housekeeping and deep cleaning of residence.
• Ability to travel between two households.
• Willingness to run errands such as doing laundry, dry cleaner, groceries etc.
• Procurement of household supplies and groceries.
• Laundry duties such as changing of sheets and towels as needed, etc.
• Management and organization of all closets, pantries, and storage areas.
• Light meal preparation and assisting chef during summer.
• Additional Housekeeping duties as needed and requested.

Requirements:

• Strong command of the English language; superb communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Excellent references from current and/or previous employers.
• Minimum 3+ years related experience working in private homes or high-end hotels.
• Basic cooking skills – light cooking/meal prep as needed.
• Quiet and reserved in demeanor.
• Flexibility in schedule.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Exceptional organizational skills and dedication to responsibilities.
• Professional in both mindset and manor; utmost discretion at all times.
• Valid Driver’s License with clean driving record.
• Legally able to work in the United States.
