Housekeeper - Bishops Bay Country Club

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. As a Housekeeper, you will ensure the cleanliness and presentation of our facilities, providing a welcoming and comfortable environment for members, guests, and staff. Your role is essential to upholding the high standards of excellence and professionalism that our club is known for.

Key Responsibilities:

• Cleaning and Maintenance:
  • Perform routine cleaning tasks, including sweeping, mopping, dusting, vacuuming, and sanitizing surfaces in all designated areas.
  • Maintain cleanliness of restrooms, locker rooms, dining areas, offices, and common spaces.
  • Assist with snow removal during winter months.
  • Assist with stocking, receiving product, organizing storage areas, and any other miscellaneous duties required to maintain the overall clubhouse
• Inspection and Reporting:
  • Regularly inspect assigned areas for cleanliness, damage, and needed repairs.
  • Report maintenance issues or supply shortages to the supervisor promptly.
• Specialized Tasks:
  • Set up and breakdown event spaces according to specifications.
  • Assist in deep cleaning projects as scheduled.
  • Properly handle cleaning chemicals and equipment, adhering to safety protocols.
• Member and Guest Interaction:
  • Respond to member and guest inquiries or requests courteously and promptly.
  • Maintain a professional and friendly demeanor at all times.

Requirements:

• Prior housekeeping experience in a hospitality or club setting is preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
• Familiarity with safe handling of cleaning supplies and equipment.
• Physical ability to perform cleaning tasks, including lifting up to 50 lbs. and standing for extended periods.
• Effective communication skills and a team-oriented mindset.
• Ability to pass a criminal background check.

Work Environment:

• Must be able to work early mornings from 5:00am-1:00pm, Sunday-Thursday.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, member-focused environment.
